New docuseries follows journey of student-athlete and Nipissing U alumnus
Series to be released on Bell Fibe TV1 on October 2
North Bay, ON – Members of the media are invited to an advanced screening of episode one of a new docuseries entitled, The Road to Convocation, featuring Nipissing University alumnus and former student-athlete, Taijon Graham. The Road to Convocation offers a raw and compelling exploration of moments that shape the journey of student-athletes as they navigate the pivotal moments of their collegiate careers.
This new series will be officially released on Bell Fibe TV1 on Wednesday, October 2, with new episodes airing weekly. The final episode will air on Wednesday, October 23.

Who: Following the screening, interviews will be available with Taijon Graham, Nipissing Alumnus and Founder of the Nipissing University Black Association for Student Expression (NUBASE).
About The Road To Convocation
Follow Scarborough native Taijon Graham as he experiences his transition to the small town of North Bay as a university basketball player. In this revealing docuseries, we go behind-the-scenes to explore the life of a student-athlete, diving into both the hardships and aspirations of a team from all walks of life.
This series highlights several members of the team who are willing to discuss their challenges in academic success, identity, financial struggle, and how racism in the community has propelled Taijon into becoming a prominent student leader.
This story is not just about a basketball team, it’s about family.
